📢 [EE Breaking News] EE – CEC Draw✨

Hello. We bring you accurate and up-to-date Canadian immigration news.

Following the CEC-targeted draw held on the 7th, another CEC-specific draw took place again after just two weeks.

Draw Details

• Program: CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
• Cut-off score: 509 points
• Invitations issued (ITA): 6,000

🧐 How should we interpret this result?

Compared to the previous draw, 2,000 fewer ITAs were issued; however, the cut-off score decreased by 2 points to 509. This suggests that the overall score distribution of candidates currently in the pool may be gradually shifting downward.

Canadian permanent residence has certainly become more challenging, but compared to last year, there is reason to feel more hopeful this year.

📢 [EE Breaking News] Massive Draw of 8,000 CEC Candidates! A Green Light for the 2026 Immigration Market✨

Hello. We deliver accurate updates on Canadian immigration news.

The results for the second Express Entry draw of the New Year 2026 have been released.

The key phrase for this draw is "Record-Breaking Scale."

Draw Details

  • Target: CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
  • Cut-off Score: 511 points
  • Invitations Issued (ITA): 8,000

🧐 How should we interpret these results?

The most notable aspect is undoubtedly the number of invitations. During the CEC draw on December 16th, 5,000 ITAs were issued with a score of 514.

This time, despite selecting 3,000 more candidates (totaling 8,000), the score only saw a 3-point drop to 511.

This suggests there are still many high-scoring candidates in the pool, but it is also proof that IRCC is aggressively selecting candidates.

The figure of 8,000 is substantial enough to revitalize the market and serves as a positive signal forecasting a very active Express Entry system throughout 2026.

Although obtaining Canadian Permanent Residence has become more challenging, we are holding onto more hope for this year compared to the last.

🔹LMIA Approval Case 🎉

This approved case is for an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) position
(NOC 42202, TEER 2), located in Prince George, British Columbia.

⚙️ Key Case Progress

This application was a long-pending case, with a processing period exceeding one year.
In November last year, the government issued a notice indicating that applications with extended processing delays would be prioritized.
Following that announcement, the final decision was issued approximately one month later.

📋 Case Summary

  • Application Submitted: November 5, 2024
  • Approval Date: December 11, 2025
  • Processing Time: Approximately 13.5 months
  • Position: Early Childhood Educator (NOC 42202)
  • Stream: PR Support
  • Location: Prince George, BC

💡 GS Consulting Commentary

Many applications submitted last year that had remained pending for extended periods are now gradually reaching final decisions.
For those who are still awaiting results, we recommend remaining patient as progress continues to be made.

At the same time, LMIA assessments have become significantly more complex and stringent.
Every stage — including recruitment strategy, advertising platform selection, job advertisement wording, application preparation, and officer interview readiness — must be logically aligned and thoroughly supported.
In addition, the candidate’s education and professional background must clearly substantiate the position requirements.

Furthermore, recent Job Bank regulation changes and the introduction of the Direct Apply process have added new layers of complexity to the LMIA assessment framework.

Despite these increasingly challenging conditions, this case was successfully approved thanks to GS Consulting’s structured approach, strategic planning, and professional expertise.

When the process becomes more difficult, the right choice matters

📢 🇨🇦 Latest Express Entry (EE) Update – Healthcare Category ✨

📌 Selection Details

• Target Group: Healthcare and Social Services Occupations
• Cut-off Score: 476
• ITAs Issued: 1,000

📈 Key Takeaways
December has seen a surge in ITA issuances.

  • Dec 8: PNP candidates – 1,123 ITAs (the highest number this year)
  • Dec 10: CEC candidates – 6,000 ITAs (also the highest this year)
  • Dec 11: Healthcare candidates – 1,000 ITAs

While the Healthcare draw itself wasn’t exceptionally large, overall December has seen more than 1,000 ITAs issued in each draw. This indicates an active EE trend heading into 2026.

📢 🇨🇦 CEC (Canadian Experience Class) Draw Summary

📌 Draw Results

  • Program: CEC (Canadian Experience Class)
  • Cut-off score: 520
  • Number of ITAs issued: 6,000

📈 Key Implications of This Draw
This round marked the largest number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued for CEC in over the past 16 months. The cut-off score dropped to 520, breaking the recent stagnation where scores had remained at 533–534 for five consecutive draws. This is considered a meaningful turning point in the trend.

In addition, CEC’s share of total Express Entry invitations in 2025 has increased significantly from 26% to 31%, indicating a stronger policy focus on candidates with Canadian work experience.

🧐 Conclusion: High Scores Remain, but Strategic Opportunities Are Emerging
While a score of 520 is still relatively high, the sharp increase in ITA issuance and the growing weight of CEC in overall Express Entry draws suggest a realistic possibility of further score declines in future rounds.

Ultimately, success in Canadian immigration depends on accurate analysis and a strategic approach. Developing a personalized CRS score improvement strategy — such as aligning with Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), upgrading academic credentials, and managing skilled work experience — is now more critical than ever.
