We’re excited to share that
another GS Consulting client has received their work permit approval!
Recently, work permit
processing times have been significantly delayed across Canada. However, this
particular case was processed more quickly due to a Temporary Public Policy
that applies in specific situations.
⚙️ Case Overview
In this case, the applicant
was already working in Canada under a valid work permit and received a new
job offer from a different employer.
Because of this, they were
eligible under Canada’s Temporary Public Policy, which allows for a faster
transition to the new employer.
After submitting the work
permit application, GS submitted a webform request to apply under this
policy on behalf of our client. As a result, they were permitted to start
working under the new job offer conditions even before the work permit was
officially approved, and the processing itself was also completed more
efficiently.
