⚡ AAIP Approval: December 3, 2024 (Processing time: 10 months)

 

Recently, the federal processing time following provincial approval has been significantly reduced to under one year.

 

This case was submitted before the AAIP transitioned to the EOI (Expression of Interest) system. As seen here, the AAIP processing time for this case took longer. Alberta prioritizes positions and regions it deems urgent, while regions or positions evaluated as less critical are often processed later.

 

Now that the system has transitioned to EOI, the AAIP selects candidates by distributing immigration streams, regions, and positions based on current needs.

 

Although this case took a while, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the client on receiving AAIP approval. The next step is to submit the final immigration documents to the federal government.
