The B.C. Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
will operate under reduced capacity in 2025βonly 4,000 nomination spots,
down 50% from last year.
With over 5,200 applications already
submitted, only 2,900 will receive nominations this year.
The remaining 1,100 nominations will
go to select new applicants in the following priority areas:
βοΈHealth Authority workers
βοΈ Entrepreneur
applicants
βοΈ High economic
impact skilled workers
β General and priority ITAs are paused
for 2025, but a few high-impact candidates (~100) may still be invited.
π What this means
for you:
This is not the year to expect broad opportunities.
Now is the time to refine your strategy, strengthen your job offer, and prepare
for 2026.
