🚨 RCIP Website Down — Reflecting the Growing Challenges in Canadian Immigration

 

Before even a week had passed since its launch, the RCIP site for North Okanagan went down due to excessive traffic.

When I tried accessing the site this morning, an error message appeared saying: "509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded."

It’s a bit disheartening, as it seems to reflect the current reality of Canadian immigration.

 

Given how difficult immigration to Canada has become, this shows how many people are eager to obtain permanent residency, even if it means relocating to a different region.

 

I hope the Canadian government understands this situation clearly.
Without a robust immigration system, it remains difficult for Canada to significantly increase its population in the short term.

Additionally, RCIP and FCIP areas are generally regions where, due to historically low population numbers, infrastructure development has been limited.
Even the website itself couldn't handle the sudden surge in access volume.

 

I sincerely hope that Canadian immigration policies will start to reflect these realities, and that newly launched immigration programs will be supported by better infrastructure in the relevant areas.

 

More RCIP-FCIP areas are continuing to open.
