On May 12, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
specific draw was held through the Express Entry (EE) system.
π Key details of the draw
are as follows:
β’ β
Cut-off score: 706
β’ β
Number of ITAs issued: 511
This draw followed two recent category-based
selections: the Education Category draw on May 1 and the Healthcare
Category draw on May 2.
In 2025, Canadian provinces have received only 50%
of the PNP allocations compared to the previous year. As a result, candidates
who had been considering PNP alone may find it worthwhile to explore PNP
pathways linked to Express Entry.
Once nominated through an EE-linked PNP stream,
candidates automatically receive an additional 600 points toward their
Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. If they also meet the basic EE
eligibility criteria, achieving a score like 706βtodayβs cut-offβbecomes
entirely feasible.
