The PR-support LMIA
applications submitted up to late November 2024 continue to challenge
many applicants, as a large number of cases have now exceeded one year of processing without receiving
results.
However, there’s been some good
news recently!
Today’s featured case was approved after
383 days since submission! đ
✅ Submitted: September 23, 2024
✅ Result: October 9, 2025 (Total processing
time: 13 months)
✅ Position: Food Service Supervisor – NOC
62020
✅ Location: Victoria, BC
There are still quite a few
LMIA cases from that same period that remain under review.
Although this one was submitted on September 23, some earlier applications are still awaiting decisions.
We sincerely hope that these remaining cases will also receive positive results
soon.
Meanwhile, it has become
clear that PR-support LMIAs are no longer
processed faster than regular ones.
For general LMIA applications,
the current average processing time is around 4–6 months.
LMIA assessments are becoming
increasingly strict and complex.
Throughout the process, it is essential to prepare carefully in every aspect —
from job advertisement design and content,
media selection, and application documentation, to interview preparation with the officer.
All these elements must remain logically
consistent, and most importantly, the candidate’s experience and education must strongly
support the position.
In challenging times like
these, choosing the right immigration
consulting firm is more important than ever.
At GS Consulting, we continue to dedicate ourselves to
providing systematic, professional, and
comprehensive total solutions for all your immigration needs. ☎️
