✨ LMIA Approved: A Success Story! ✨

Until the end of November last year, many applicants submitted their LMIA (PR-support) applications — and unfortunately, many are still facing long delays.

The processing time has now exceeded one year, and there are still numerous cases with no results yet.

However, we recently received some encouraging news:
One case was approved after 381 days!
🎉

Submitted: September 19, 2024
Approved: October 4, 2025 (Total processing time: 12.5 months)
Position: Cook – NOC 63200
Location: Prince George, BC

There are still quite a few LMIA applications from this same period awaiting decisions.
Even some cases submitted earlier than September 19 have yet to receive results.

We sincerely hope that these pending cases will soon be finalized.

Meanwhile, it’s become clear that PR-support LMIAs are no longer processed faster than before.
In contrast, regular LMIA applications are currently being processed more efficiently, taking approximately 4–6 months on average.

LMIA assessments have become increasingly strict and complex.
Therefore, thorough preparation throughout the process is essential — including job advertisement design, content, media selection, application documentation, and officer interview preparation.

Every element must be logically consistent, supported by the candidate’s experience and education.

The more challenging the environment, the more important your choice of immigration consulting firm becomes.

At GS Consulting, we continue to do our best to provide a systematic, professional, and total immigration solution for every client. ☎️
