The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
has announced that it has been allocated an additional 1,254 nominations for
2025 from the federal government.
This increase is relatively modest and will
not allow for large-scale invitations.
In line with the announcement made on April
14, the additional nominations will be directed toward priority groups within
BC, namely healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and candidates who can
deliver significant economic impact.
Furthermore, part of this allocation will be
used to process some of the 2,240 pending applications submitted in 2024 under
the International Post-Graduate (IPG) stream.
The Province concluded the update by
reiterating that it continues to request further increases to its PNP quota
from the federal government.
