On February 17th, there was an EE selection
targeting PNP.
The announced details are as follows:β£οΈ
β
Cut-off score: 750 points
β
ITA issued: 646
There have been a total of 6 EE selections in 2025
so far. 3 targeting CEC, and 3 targeting PNP.
As announced last year, the focus has been on
selecting candidates within Canada, with CEC being the main target.
The continuous selection of PNP targets is
attributed to the 2025 PNP allocation. The provincial immigration quotas for
all provinces are being announced by the IRCC. Except for the PNP quota of
Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), which negotiated with IRCC to increase the
allocation for asylum immigration and Humanitarian and Compassionate
immigration, all other provinces received less than 50% of last year's
allocation.
Considering this, it is understood that many βPNP
onlyβ selections are being made through federal immigration EE.
Nevertheless, due to the still very small PNP quotas
for each province, it seems that provincial governments are deeply concerned.
