📢 Alberta AAIP Draw Results Announced

Alberta, which processed a total of 9,942 PNP cases in 2024, has been allocated only 4,875 cases for this year, representing a 50% reduction. This reduction is consistent across all provinces, each receiving approximately half of their previous allocation. While there's potential for future negotiations with the federal government, Alberta's AAIP is proactively responding and progressing despite these challenges.

Selections for four streams were conducted from February 12th to 19th. Here's a breakdown:

February 12th: ABEE – Accelerated Tech Pathway

Cut-off Score: 67

NOI (Notifications of Interest): 63

This marks the first selection for the Accelerated Tech Pathway this year. It's the fastest processing stream within the AAIP, ideal for those working in tech-related positions in Alberta and eligible under Express Entry.

February 14th: AOS – Construction

Cut-off Score: 61

NOI: 88

Targeted candidates with construction occupations who registered under the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS).

February 18th: Dedicated Health Care Pathway – EE

Cut-off Score: 47

NOI: 32

February 19th: Dedicated Health Care Pathway – Non-EE

Cut-off Score: 51

NOI: 9

Alberta's Health Care selections consistently include both Express Entry (EE) and non-EE candidates. As seen from the scores and numbers, EE eligibility significantly enhances your chances.

While Alberta's provincial nominations remain relatively active compared to other provinces, the number of invitations issued is noticeably lower than when the program began.
