Today (February 18), the following
information was posted on the SINP website:
“Due to the federal government’s decision to
reduce nomination allocations to the SINP by 50 per cent in 2025, the intake of
all new Job Approval Forms (JAFs) has been temporarily paused.”
This is due to the federal government's
decision to reduce PNP allocations by 50% in 2025.
The most important process for SINP (Saskatchewan
Provincial Nominee Program), is receiving the Job Approval Letter. However,
this process has been temporarily suspended. We hope that this suspension will
be resolved as soon as possible and that the JAL process will resume.
For those aiming for SINP, it is advisable
to take this period as a waiting time rather than worrying too much about the
situation, and to prepare for when it reopens.
It seems that cases that have already been
submitted are being processed. This is because the cases of GS customers that
have been submitted are also being processed.
We will provide further guidance when new
information becomes available.
